Chilean soccer federation president Sergio Jadue
abruptly left Chile and took a “medical leave," flying to Miami to serve as an FBI informant in
connection with the FIFA corruption investigation, sources say. “It’s not a holiday,” a Chilean newspaper added. “He is due back May 10 next year. Jadue is traveling as a
protected informant of U.S. justice.” Soccer officials in Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay and Venezuela were indicted. Luis Bedoya
, the Chilean soccer
federation president, recently resigned due to personal reasons.
