Ten MLS teams will take part in preseason training in Tucson, Arizona, where the 2016 Desert Friendlies and FC Tucson Desert Diamond Cup Tournament will again be held at Kino North Stadium.
In the first part of preseason, which opens on Jan. 24, Seattle, Portland, Sporting Kansas City, Houston, San Jose and Vancouver will play the Desert Friendlies in Tucson. The first doubleheader
will be held Feb. 3: Vancouver-Seattle and Portland-Houston.
The FC Tucson Desert Diamond Cup will run Feb. 17-27 and feature New England, back for a fifth year, Real Salt Lake,
Colorado and Sporting Kansas City. USL team Swope Park Rangers and the PDL's FC Tucson will round out the field.
In its fifth year, FC Tucson, Visit Tucson and Pima County are again
partnering with MLS as the Western Hub Preseason
