MLS: Sporting KC continues talks with five free agents

Sporting Kansas City picked up the options on 12 of the 13 players it had options on -- all but Jalil Anibaba -- and will will extend offers to five players who are free agents at the end of the season: Jon Kempin, Mikey Lopez, Soni Mustivar, Paulo Nagamura and Seth Sinovic.

Included on the list of 12 players is MLS MVP finalist Benny Feilhaber and Krisztian Nemeth, who recently helped Hungary qalify for Euro 2016.

Sporting Kansas City has an additional eight players under contract, notably Matt Besler, Dom Dwyer, Roger Espinoza and Graham Zusi.

Anibaba is eligible to participate in Major League Soccer's Re-Entry Draft. Teams can re-sign their own players eligible for free agency or the Re-Entry draft until Dec. 10. MLS will conduct the first stage of the Re-Entry Draft Dec. 11.
