The 2015 Best XI features players from eight MLS clubs -- two each on MLS conference finalists Columbus, FC Dallas and New York -- and
representing seven different senior national teams.
In addition to Ciman and Giovinco, the Crew's Kei Kamara
did not play in MLS last season.
Voting for the 2015 MLS
Best XI was conducted through write-in votes from MLS players, club leadership and media members. The highest vote-getters from submissions formed a 3-4-3 formation.
