Penn State is returning to the Women's College Cup, beating West Virginia, 2-0, to make it four wins in four NCAA Tournament games and an amazing 17-0 goal difference. The Nittany Lions will be making
their fifth appearance in the College Cup, and second trip in the last four seasons. In 2012, they fell to North Carolina in the final. The seven players from the 2012 team want the ending to be
different. “These seniors have been here before,” Penn State coach
Erica Walsh said. “They’re not satisfied to just go to a College Cup. These guys dream and work to win
a national championship. ... They’re going to the College Cup to win it.”
