Making a List: MLS's best records (2013-15)

Caleb Porter was rewarded for leading the Portland Timbers to the MLS Cup 2015 title, the first by a Cascadia team, with a long-term contract extension. Since Porter joined the Timbers in 2013, they rank fourth in MLS in total points in the regular season, behind only the New York Red Bulls, Seattle Sounders and LA Galaxy, establishing themselves as one of the elite teams of the league.

    2013 pretty much negated DC's right to be on this list...

    Even with 2013, DC would have had 126 points which would leave them between Philadelphia and San Jose...bottom half of the table but not in the relegation
