No MLS  team needs more help on defense than the Chicago Fire, but it picked up another key piece for its backline with the acquisition of Dutchman Johan Kappelhof. The Fire used TargetedAllocation Money to sign the 25-year-old defender from Groningen of the Dutch Eredivisie to a three-year agreement.
