Ivorian midfielder Xavier Kouassi, acquired as a Designated Player to fill in the slot held by unsigned Jermaine Jones, was injured playing for his Swiss club Sion on Sunday, and the Swiss newspaper Le Nouvelliste reported he faces 6-9 months on the sidelineswith a knee injury.
