FC Dallas won its first game of the 2016 MLS preseason, beating the New England Revolution, 2-1, on a pair of goals by German draft pick Timo Pitter out of Creighton. FC Dallas made heavy useof current academy players, starting high school juniors Luis Carillo and Devin Vega and bringing four other academy players on off the bench.
