Ronaldo ends road drought, Zidane wins in Champions League debut

Cristiano Ronaldo scored as Real Madrid beat Roma, 2-0, in the in the first leg of the round of 16 in the Champions League. The goal ended his scoring drought on the road that dated back to the end of November. Substitute Jese then sealed the victory with the second goal as Zinedine Zidane won in its Real Madrid coaching debut in the Champions League.

"Everyone expects [Ronaldo] to score and today he was able to," Zidane said. "I'm happy for these two away goals and that we didn't concede any goals."
