Pots for Sunday's Copa Centenario draw revealed

How does a group with Ecuador, Bolivia and Haiti sound? Or Chile, Peru and Costa Rica?

Those are the extremes of the groups the USA could draw in the Copa Centenario.

Copa Centenario: Match Schedule

The USA will learn its opponents on Sunday when the draw is held at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City (TV: 7:30 p.m. ET, Fox Sports 2, Univision).

Pot 1 (Seeded nations): USA, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina
Pot 2 (Conmebol higher ranked nations): Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Uruguay
Pot 3 (Concacaf qualified nations): Costa Rica, Haiti, Jamaica, Panama
Pot 4 (Conmebol remaining nations): Bolivia, Paraguay, Peru, Venezuela

Former stars from the Americas will take part in the draw that will consist of two phases: determine the placement of the teams from each pot in the four groups and then their placement within their group, determining the order and location of their matches.

The price of the tickets are off the chart. Wanted to get tickets to see the U.S. play in Philadelphia but, after seeing the prices, NO WAY! It isn't the World Cup!! The federations should be ashamed.

Kevin, this is Copa America celebrating
100 years of football, before World Cup was created there was Copa America and in order to be inclusive invited Concacaf to help their teams to reach the level of their game including USA and show the US what real Fooball is about.
