REF WATCH: Pay refs six figures, says Blatter

In the wake of Germany's game-fixing scandal, FIFA President Sepp Blatter has recommended playing referees 100,000 euros ($132,600).

''That would be the solution,'' Blatter said in an interview with German magazine Kicker. ''I've been saying that for 10 years. Then it becomes an occupation, and when you go to your workplace you don't cheat anyone.''
