TV: Networks offer extensive FIFA election coverage

Fox Sports -- the current FIFA rights-holder -- and ESPN -- which broadcast the last six World Cups -- will offer extensive coverage of Friday's FIFA presidential election in Zurich.

ESPN2 has been providing coverage on ESPN FC, the daily soccer news show, at 5 p.m. ET, while Fox Sports 1 begins its coverage Thursday with a one-hour election special at 6:00 PM ET.

On Friday morning, both networks will offer live coverage of the Extraordinary FIFA Congress from the Hallenstadion in Zurich.

Bob Ley will be the host as ESPN3 offers a live feed online beginning at 3:30 a.m. ET and ESPN follows up with a live SportsCenter Special at 7 a.m.

Fox Sports 1 kicks off six hours of live coverage at 3 a.m. ET with Rob Stone at the anchor desk from the Fox Network Center in Los Angeles.

Spanish-language UDN will begin continuous coverage of the election with a special edition of Linea de Cuatro, beginning at 6:50 a.m.
