Vitaly Mutko, a member of the FIFA executive committee, praised Gianni Infantino's election as FIFA president, saying it would help soccer's world governing body
overcome its problems. "I am happy," Mutko was quoted by Russian news agencies as saying after Infantino won Friday's vote in Zurich. We supported him from the start. I hope that everything that has
been planned will be realized. World football needs such a pragmatist."
