The semifinals of the Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League opened on Tuesday when Queretaro played to a 0-0 tie with Tigres in the first of two all-Mexican affairs. Americans played for both teams:
Jonathan Bornstein, who started at left back for Queretaro, and Jose Torres, who played the last half hour for Tigres.
Tigres hosts the second leg in Monterrey on April 5.
Santos hosts Club
America in the other first leg on Wednesday.
