Gianni Infantino after documents leaked in the
Panama Papers revealed that as UEFA's attorney he signed a Champions League broadcasting contract in 2006 with an agency implicated last year in the FIFA bribery scandal. No one has been accused of
wrongdoing in the transaction, which involved Ecuadoran media rights, but UEFA had to correct a statement made last year that it had no commercial dealings with people and companies indicted in the
U.S. federal case. (
