U.S. Abroad: Pulisic impresses in Ruhr derby

Christian Pulisic  had perhaps his best game for Borussia Dortmund as the 17-year-old Pennsylvanian started in its 2-2 tie at archrival Schalke 04. With second place assured in the Bundesliga, BVB rested key players ahead of the second leg of the Europa League quarterfinal series at Liverpool, giving Pulisic his second start.

Pulisic was Dortmund's best player in the first half, forcing Schalke keeper Ralf Fahrmann into a save on his header and then breaking free only to watch his shot go wide of the far post.

ENGLAND. Emerson Hyndman celebrated his 20th birthday with his first pro goal as he had the stoppage-time winner for Fulham in its 2-1 win over Cardiff City.

Matt Miazga's second start for Chelsea did not go as well as he was subbed at the half after contributing to the Swansea City goal that gave it a 1-0 win over the Blues.
