U.S. U-19 men fall to Slovakia on the way to final

The Brad Friedel-coached U.S. U-19 men’s national team, having already clinched a spot in the Slovakia Cup final against Russia, fell, 3-1, in its final group game of the tourney to the host.

Three U.S. players and seven Slovakia players were yellow-carded in the affair in which Colby Agu (Capital Area RailHawks) scored the USA’s lone goal.

The USA booked its place in the final, which takes place Friday, with wins over Georgia (5-1) and Ukraine (2-1).
