U.S. Abroad: Castillo and Gonzalez reach Mexico final

Edgar Castillo and Omar Gonzalez, who were both passed over by U.S. national team coach Jurgen Klinsmann for the Copa Centenario, will meet in the final of Mexico's Torneo Clausura as Castillo's Monterrey and Gonzalez's Pachuca, the top two seeds, advanced. Alex De John registered his first goal since moving to Norway in 2015 when he scored in Start's 2-2 tie at Sogndal.

    Hey Paul, I am sorry that Gonzalez and Castillo got passed over for the Copa Centenario list of players, however, I do recall you saying the reasons are exactly those you mention, that of duties required of them for their LIGA MX Torneo Clausura duties. So it isn't a knock on them not to have made the USMNT, right?
