What They're Saying: Landon Donovan

"I think we have come to a place where we both can move on from it. It wasn't an easy time probably for either of us, but we both realize that life goes on, and if we're both going to be involved in this sport, we should have a relationship, and so we are on good terms, and I expect it to remain that way."

-- Landon Donovan, saying he and Jurgen Klinsmann held a clear-the-air talk for several hours in Seattle before the USA-Ecuador game. (SI.com)

Well your a better man that I Landon. I think you could have helped us in the last WC with your passing and with a counter which we did not have.

He just wanted to show he was in charge of the team.

Landon is a class act, I am for tunas enough to say I marked him in a exhibition and had 4-5 friends that played with him on the U-17 squad that placed 4th. Any soccer observer know Donovan not only should have started in 2014, but would have made a tremendous difference.
