Video Pick: Goalkeeper throws ball into own goal

Now this was a way to get some publicity for a mid-summer friendly between U.S. and English clubs. Minnesota United FC goalkeeper Sammy Ndjock picked up a ball on the edge of the penalty area, turned to throw the ball -- but accidentally threw it into his own goal for the second goal in Bournemouth's 4-0 win in front of 8,333 fans at Blaine’s National Sports Center Stadium. An Own of the Year candidate, for sure.

It obviously slipped out of his hand. I am sure he is very embarrassed by it.

Doesn't make it any less funny.

I sometimes laugh at my misfortunes, but I don't laugh at other people's misfortunes.

What an absurd and pompous statement. I guess you change the channel when "not top plays" or any other bloopers come on. Don't strain your arm patting yourself on the back.

Just watched it again and laughed just as hard.
