Crowd Count: FC Cincinnati sets another USL record

FC Cincinnati set a USL single-season attendance record when it drew 16,127 fans Wednesday at Nippert Stadium for its game against the New York Red Bulls II. The crowd pushed the expansion team's season total to 164,109 fans with five games to play, more than than the record of 158,516 fans set by Sacramento Republic FC in 2015.

FC Cincinnati set a USL attendance record when 23,375 fans saw it beat the Pittsburgh Riverhounds in April.

Its average of 16,411 fans a game after 10 games is on course to break the season-season average of 11,323 fans a game held by Sacramento Republic FC.
