TV Report: USA-France averages 2.9 million viewers on NBCSN

Saturday's USA-France women's game at the Rio Olympics on NBCSN averaged 2.9 million viewers, up 19 percent from the USA's second game at the 2012 London Olympics.

The USA's opening 2-0 victory over New Zealand drew 1.3 million viewers on Wednesday, more than double the viewership for the USA-France opener at the 2012 London Olympics.

NBCSN's most-watched game on Saturday was the U.S. men’s basketball win over China with an average of 3.8 million viewers.

The highest U.S. viewership during the Copa Centenario group stage in English-language television on FS1 was 2,061,000.
