WCQ Callups: T&T goes heavy on U.S.-based players

Nine U.S.-based players -- five in MLS, three in the USL and one in the NASL -- have been included in the Trinidad & Tobago team that will face Guatemala and the United States in World Cup 2018 qualifying.

Coach Stephen Hart has one newcomer to the squad: Canadian-born goalkeeper Greg Ranjitsingh, who played at Mercer University and is now with the USL's  Louisville City. The squad will be captained by Kenwyne Jones, who is on loan from Atlanta United FC to Central FC in Trinidad.

The Soca Warriors will clinch a berth in the Hexagonal with a win or tie at home against Guatemala on Sept. 2. They will face the USA four days later in Jacksonville, Florida.
