Video Pick: A forward flips out to beat keeper

In Colorado high school ball, Columbine junior Dylan Prichett-Ettner  won a one-on-one with ThunderRidge's goalkeeper thanks to a perfectly executed front-flip. He nailed the landing, stroked the ball into the net, and despite being called for offside, achieved YouTube fame.

Once saw a player flip while holding the ball between his ankles. After that player scored, the beaten defender gave his adversary a high 5. Yes ... High school match!

Prichett-Ettner got screwed by the offside call; we don’t see him when the ball is passed, but he comes into frame at 0:03, and at least one of the defenders (in addition to the keeper) is closer to the goal line than he is — though that defender is running •much• slower than P-E.

It’s absurd to suggest that P-E was offside at the moment the ball was passed, then in the second and a half before we see P-E, the far defender dashed ahead of him, and then, as they came into frame, slowed to a crawl so P-E could zip past him again.

The lineman just botched this call.
