-- Washington Spirit tweet, written by a Spirit employee and since deleted, protesting the post on the club's same Twitter account by Washington Spirit owner Bill Lynch, explaining why the NWSL club wouldn't allow Rapinoe to "hijack" Wednesday's NWSL game and switched up the order of the playing of the national anthem so Rapinoe couldn't kneel in protest. The Washington Post reported the Spirit employee then resigned. (Twitter @AdamResinger)
