A U.S. prosecutor in the soccer bribery scandal said on Monday several defendants are in talks about possibly pleading guilty.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Evan Norris was speaking at ahearing in Brooklyn federal court. The trial date set by U.S. District Judge Pamela Chen for seven former soccer officials from Concacaf nations and Miami-based sports marketing executive AaronDavidson, the lone American, is Nov. 6, 2017.

To date, 42 individuals and entities have been charged in schemes involving more than $200 million in bribes and kickbacks and 16 people and twosports marketing companies have pleaded guilty to U.S. charges.
