College Men: Virginia ends drought against Carolina

Virginia picked up its biggest win of the season when it beat North Carolina, 2-1, in Chapel Hill, snapping a nine-game winless streak against the Tar Heels that dated back to 2008. It was also the Cavaliers' first win in five ACC games in 2016.

Guatemalan Pablo Aguilar evened the score in the 53rd minute with the first goal UNC has given up in 412 minutes. The Cavaliers went ahead in the 78th minute when Nicko Corriveau fed Wesley Wade, who scored with his first touch from 23 yards.

UNC opened the scoring in the 37th minute on a Walker Hume header from a cross from David October. The loss dropped the Tar Heels into a four-way tie for second place behind Louisville.
