By the Numbers: MLS playoff teams since All-Star Game

The MLS All-Star break isn't a "break" in the sense that the MLB All-Star Game is a break, but it is a solid marker to divide the season. The end of the summer transfer window falls only a few days later so most clubs will have incorporated their latest signings in their teams.

The first game after the All-Star Game marked the debut of Uruguayan Nicolas Lodeiro, who helped turn around the Seattle Sounders. They have the second best record since July 31, behind only the unbeaten New York Red Bulls.
