What They're Saying: Jeff Agoos

"I think the irony that people don't realize about Bruce is he is the most loyal and caring person of a lot of coaches that are out there. That doesn't obviously come across when you first meet him, but when you get to know him, I think people don't understand what he would do for players, what he would do for staff. He can joke around and be funny and have a great wit, and obviously know how to manage people, but underneath it all, he really cares about the person. He really cares about the family."

-- MLS executive Jeff Agoos on LA Galaxy coach Bruce Arena, whom he played for at Virginia and on the U.S. national team and he says is misunderstood as being arrogant. (Fourfourtwo.com)
