College Men: SLU takes command in Atlantic-10

Saint Louis struggled in non-conference play, going 1-4-3, but the Billikens have been perfect since the start of Atlantic-10 play. They scored four times in the second half for a 5-0 victory over St. Bonaventure to improve to 6-0-0 in A-10 play.

Akeem Richards scored the eventual game-winning goal in the waning seconds of the first half with his first of the season. Joe Saad, Constantin Heider, Julian Gieseke and Quayyum Murana scored less than 16 minutes apart to finish off the Bonnies.

The Billikens’ five goals were a season high, as were their 26 shots.

Saint Louis rides a six-game win streak into Tuesday's non-conference match against Midwest rival Indiana in Bloomington and can clinch the A-10 regular-season title Saturday night at Hermann Stadium with a win or tie against Fordham.

The A-10 Tournament will be held Nov. 10-13 in Davidson, North Carolina.
