The New England Revolution have retained head coach Jay Heaps for a sixth season, despite its failure to make the MLS playoffs, the Boston Globe reported. The Revs, who were edged out byPhiladelphia for the sixth spot in the Eastern Conference on goal difference, had made the playoffs in each of the last three seasons.
