Spanish newspaper El Mundo reported that a soccer school project funded by the Spanish government in Haiti following the devastating earthquake in 2010 was never completed and Spain’s minister forsport has asked the country’s national soccer federation for the return of the money it advanced. The project included plans to send coaches from Spain to Haiti. But El Mundo reported that thefederation’s only contribution to the project was to send soccer shoes and goals to Haiti.
