FIFA has ruled that Bolivia fielded
Nelson Cabrera, who moved to Bolivia from his native Paraguay four years ago, when he was ineligible in a 0-0 tie with Chile and a 2-0 win over
Paraguay in World Cup qualifying. Those games are now recorded as 3-0 Bolivia losses. FIFA rules require players to live in their adopted country for five years before becoming eligible for the
national team. The decision moves Chile from seventh to fifth place.
