Iran fined for 'religious manifestations'

FIFA fined Iran after fans were asked to sing religious chants and wear black at the World Cup 2018 qualifier against South Korea played on a Shia holy day. Iran, which was fined $50,000 for "several religious manifestations," won the game, 1-0, at Tehran's 100,000-seat Azadi Stadium.

    This is a drop in the bucket compared to the potential sh1tshow that awaits in 2022. What if Israel qualifies for the world cup? Qatar, which has begged, bribed, borrowed and stole to host, won't be able to buy their way out of trouble if Israel (currently only 1 point off of Spain/Italy in Group G) shows up on their doorstep.
