ACC Men: BC knocks off top seed Carolina

No. 8 seed Boston College upset No. 1 North Carolina, 1-0, on Bermudan Zeiko Lewis' goal in the 58th minute, giving him three goals in two games in the ACC Tournament. Clemson, Louisville and Wake Forest are also headed to Wednesday's semifinals.

A 75th-minute goal from Jacori Hayes gave No. 2 Wake Forest a 1-0 win over No. 7 Notre Dame.

German star Tim Kubel notched his second goal of the season in the 55th minute to lead No. 3 Louisville past No. 6 Virginia, 1-0.

No. 4 Clemson advanced with a 4-2 win over No. 5 Syracuse in a shootout after their game ended 1-1. A 67th-minute goal from Costa Rican Diego Campos gave the Tigers the lead but a Syracuse equalizer from Coastal Carolina transfer Sergio Camargo in the 86th minute sent the game to overtime.

The semifinal winners will advance to the ACC championship came, which will be played Sunday at MUSC Health Stadium in Charleston, South Carolina.
