U.S. U-18 men beat U.S. U-19s at final 2016 camp

The U.S. U-18 and U-19 men's national team finished off 2016 with a joint camp in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, that included an intra-squad scrimmage and friendlies by each team against USL clubs.

Coach Brad Friedel's U-19s fell 2-1 to U-18s, coached by Omid Namazi. Djordje Mihailovic gave the U-19s a 31st-minute lead, Justin Rennicks equalized for the U-18s in the 44th minute, and Jake Morris scored the U-18s' gamewinner in the 50th minute.

The U.S. 19s beat USA club Miami FC, 5-0, with goals by Brandon Vazquez, Tyler Adams, Nick Taitague, Isaiah Young and Nelson Hunsinger. The U.S. U-18s tied the South Florida Surf, 2-2, with Jose Carranza scoring twice for the U-18s.
