Awards: Altidore named U.S. Player of the Year again

Jozy Altidore won the U.S. Player of the Year award for the second time, receiving 52 first-place votes from 136 media members in the annual balloting conducted by Futbol de Primera. Borussia Dortmund teenager Christian Pulisic and U.S. captain Michael Bradley finished second and third, respectively

Altidore, who battled back from hamstring injuries, helped Toronto FC reach the MLS Cup final, scoring five goals in six playoff games and 10 goals in 23 regular-season games. He had six goals in 10 international appearances this year.

What a lousy choice! His attitude and his work rate is still terrible. For those of us that, had to watch him live against New Zealand, this is a farce. How many cards for dissent this year? The voters need to ask themselves if he is someone they would want for a teammate.

Jozy is back in form just in time for qualifying. Pulusic is going to be a great player.

The US will most likely qualify, but it does not need to be this stressful. PLEASE no more loses to third world countries!!!That is why Klinsmann is gone.
