Kelly Smith retires at the age of 38

Kelly Smith, a pioneering women's star on both sides of the Atlantic, has retired at the age of 38. Smith, who attended Seton Hall and played in WUSA and WPS, scored 46 goals and earned 117 England caps, playing in six major tournaments and represented Team GB at the 2012 London Olympics. She won five FA Cups with Arsenal, scoring six goals in those five finals.
