CCL: Mexico's Pachuca cruises into semifinals

Mexico's Pachuca became the first team to advance to the semifinals of the Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League when it beat Costa Rica's Saprissa, 4-0, at home to win their series by the same score on aggregate. FC Dallas should face Pachuca in the semifinals as it takes a 4-0 lead into its second leg at Panama's Arabe Unido on Wednesday.



Tuzos went ahead on first-half goals from Victor Guzman and Jonathan Urretaviscaya, and Franco Jara and Hirving Lozano completed the rout. Saprissa had Daniel Colindres sent off for his second yellow card in the 89th minute.

American Omar Gonzalez played the entire game for Pachuca.
