U.S. Abroad: Alex Morgan gets first three goals with Lyon

Alex Morgan scored her first three goals since moving to Lyon in a 6-0 win over Rodez in the French Cup quarterfinals.

She had a frustrating first two months in France: playing just 208 minutes and scoring no goals. Her playing time has been limited by illness.

The goals came in her first game back since the SheBelieves Cup, where she played just 94 minutes in three games.

Lyon has a four-point lead in Ligue Feminine. It plays German club Wolfsburg in a rematch of the 2016 UEFA Women's Champions League final in the first leg of the quarterfinals on March 23.

Lyon, which has a four-point lead in Ligue Feminine, is bidding for an 11th straight league title and sixth straight league-cup double, and its defense of the UEFA Champions League title continues with a rematch of the 2016 final against German club Wolfsburg in the first leg of the quarterfinals on March 23.
