U.S. Abroad: Lloyd's winner not enough in Women's UCL

Carli Lloyd scored the lone goal as Manchester City beat Lyon 1-0 in the second leg of their Women's UEFA Champions League semifinal series before 19,214 fans at Parc OL but it was not enough to overcome a 3-1 loss in the first leg. Alex Morgan came on in the second half for Lyon, which will face Paris St. Germain in an all-French final.

Lloyd scored in the 57th minute, taking advantage of an errant pass by Lyon goalkeeper Sarah Bouhaddi.

PSG beat Barcelona 2-0 on Saturday to advance 5-1 on aggregate in the other semifinal. The game drew 19,194 fans, a women's record for a match at the Parc des Princes.
