Bobby Wood‘s Hamburg avoided a relegation playoff when it rallied to beat Wolfsburg, 2-1, on the final day of the Bundesliga season. Wood, who has been battling a knee injury, played the entiregame for HSV, which won a goal by Gian-Luca Waldschmidt in the 88th minute. The loss sent Wolfsburg into the relegation playoffs.
