Justin Williams scored on a penalty
kick and Sito Seoane added the winner in the 72nd minute to cap the second-half comeback. TFC, which left many of its starters at home, had taken a lead on Benoit Cheyrou's goal in the
first half.
The Vancouver Whitecaps got first-half goals from 16-year-old Alphonso Davies and Nicolas Mezquida and held on to beat the Montreal Impact, 2-1, in the first leg
of the other semifinal series.
Spencer Richey preserved the win when he saved a penalty kick by Patrice Bernier in the 73 minute. Montreal had pulled a goal back when
David Choiniere scored in the 61st minute.
Like I said many MLS team will fall to non-MLS teams and this is no Cinderella Story it's just the MLS teams are just as low level as the amateur team.
That is a dumb comment. The Fury are a professional team. TFC left many (read most) at home, so it was a USL starting team versus a 2nd/3rd team for TFC. If starting 11 played for both teams played, TFC would be far superior. When a League 2 team in England beats a Prem team in England, does that mean that the Prem team belongs in League 2?? Just a dumb comment.
Ok Mr Wannabe Lawyer.. is my statement wrong or right ? It's two unrelated sentences and both are correct.. the only thing that's dumb is your interpretation.. the first statement is 100% because it's an event that actually happened between an MLS vs NON-MLS team.. the second statement is a opioniated opinion that MLS is like an amateur team and in court of law opinions are not dumb it a legal opinion of that individual that can take precedence.. you need to read before acting and saying stupid things because it's a reflection on you.
And my proofreading is indeed poor today.
Ottawa's attendance is way down this year. Is that because of the move to USL or something else?
