Japanese player. She was part of the Japanese team that won the 2011 world championship, coming on as a sub against the USA in the final.
She began her pro career at NTV Beleza of Japan's
Nadeshiko League, where she scored 88 goals in 133 appearances and won three league championships and four Empress’s Cup titles. She won two Frauen Bundesliga titles and the 2010 UEFA Women's
Champions League with Turbine Potsdam
Nagasato is expected to arrive in Chicago on May 31. She will be eligible to play for the Red Stars on June 5, the date of the opening of the NWSL's
secondary transfer window.
