U.S. Abroad: Carli Lloyd suspended for three games

Carli Lloyd's red card for an elbow in the last minute of Manchester City's 5-1 win over Yeovil Town earned her a suspension and will keep her out of three of her last four games in the Women's Super League One spring series.

Lloyd's red card for elbowing Annie Heatherson came on a corner kick came in the 89th minute. After a review of the incident, Manchester City issued a statement that its coaching staff "accepted" the referee's decision.

Without Lloyd, Manchester City beat Crystal Dunn's Chelsea, 1-0, on Thursday to claim second place in the spring series, a point behind Liverpool but with a game in hand.

With Lloyd, Manchester City won the Women's FA Cup and reached the semifinals of the UEFA Women's Champions League.

    I am looking at the body of work between the players and Lloyd body of work is larger. What are you comparing ?
