The Chicago Fire extended its winning streak to four games with a 2-1 win over FC Dallas on goals by Nemanja Nikolic (league-leading 11th goal of the season) and David Accam (7th) in the first nine games. The Fire's seven wins in 13 games match their 2016 season total for 34 games. Roland Lamah, one of only four regulars to start for FC Dallas, scored in the 6th minute.
