“1860 Munich, the worst run club ever.”
-- Former Norwegian international
Jan Aage Fjortoft, now a television pundit on German soccer, after 1860 Munich was relegated
from Germany's second division in a promotion/relegation match with third division Jahn Regensburg that was held up for 15 minutes because of violence from angry fans in the crowd of 62,200 at the
Allianz Arena. Every 1860 Munich team -- including U-21, U-19s, U-17s and U-16s -- was relegated this season. (

Ridiculous that the second club in Munich can't be more competitive.
You reap what you sow. Crowd should have been protesting half way through the season instead of waiting till the end. Amazing a club in second division has 62K fans and still doesn't do everything in its powers to move up..
LOL....all it takes is whining and complaining to make a great soccer club right? If that were true, I'd appoint QTD to run my team. With his ability to complain about everything, his team would be winning every trophy in sight.
So now I am an 1860 Munich cheerleader too? I just don't see why pitch invasions and in-stadium violence have a place in the game. Can you explain why you think that kind of stuff is ok?
Fire, no where did he call you a cheerleader but you are a moron to think we are condoning unsocial behavior.
Why? You said this should have happened sooner.
I said PROTESTING and never once said create violence like you applied.. the violence is the result off the relegation.. in every sport fans protest when the team is doing terrible so management and players put in the additional effort to do better.. last set of fans to successful do it was Swansea because they did not want to see their team relegated..
You are an NFL fan and you've said that it is the most exciting sport ever. So tell me which NFL team had fans "protesting" resulting in the players trying harder and therefore winning more? I suppose Jets fans have been protesting for 50 years. Browns and Lions fans too.
