Manchester United, at $3.4 billion, has replaced Real Madrid as the Europe's most valuable club. No. 2 Real Madrid ($3.3 billion) is followed by Barcelona ($3.1 billion), Bayern Munich ($2.75
billion) and Manchester City ($2.2 billion), according to
professional services company KPMG, which attributed each club a ranking by examining figures from the latest publicly available
financial statements of 32 European soccer clubs from the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons, as well as their levels of success in European competitions and their popularity on social media platforms.
