USWNT: Morgan forced to drop out of Scandinavian trip

Alex Morgan, who re-injured the hamstring injury she suffered almost three weeks ago playing for Lyon in Thursday's UEFA Women's Champions League final, has been ruled out of the USA's two matches against Sweden and Norway.

North Carolina Courage forward Lynn Williams, who has eight caps and two international goals, will take her place for the matches against Sweden on June 8 in Gothenburg and against Norway on June 11 in Sandefjord.

"It is important that Alex has appropriate time to heal and get 100% healthy and ready for the Orlando Pride," said U.S. head coach Jill Ellis. "Lynn has been gaining momentum in the league and has earned an opportunity to join us for the next two matches."

Beginning of the end for Morgan? Lots of injuries the past couple years. From the other article, sounds like she came back too soon. Why?
